Below are the bios for the 2013-2014 board.  These are followed by the names of the founding board which served from 2011-2013.


Jordan is the current President of the Tepper Sports Fanalytics Club. He is a former Brown University basketball player who holds a dual-major in Business Economics as well as Public and Private Sector Organizations. For the past six years prior to business school, Jordan worked as the Director of Business Development at Standard & Poor’s in Manhattan. He concentrating in Quantitative Analysis, Finance and Strategy and is looking to combine his passion for the game of basketball and athletics along with his MBA studies into a career. Jordan will be interning in both the Basketball Operations front office of the Memphis Grizzlies this summer, as well as in the Financial Planning & Analysis group at Under Armour in Baltimore, MD. He is a die-hard New York Knicks and New York Yankees fan.



Ryan Sutton is the Executive Vice President for the Tepper Sports Fanalytics Club. He also serves as the Executive VP for the Consulting Club and the VP of Education for the Organizational Leadership Club. Ryan grew up in the Boston area and is an avid Boston sports fan. He attended Johns Hopkins University where he also played lacrosse, reaching one NCAA National Championship game and two more NCAA semifinal games. He graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Civil Engineering. Prior to the Tepper School, he worked as a structural engineer at Odeh Engineers, a structural engineering firm in North Providence, Rhode Island. Ryan is a registered professional engineer and is pursuing a career change into consulting and will be working for A.T. Kearney this summer. Ryan is concentrating in Strategy, Organizational Behavior, and Operations Management.



Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and is a die-hard Hoosier fan. Prior to coming to Tepper, he was an Assistant VP in Institutional Equity Sales at FBR Capital Markets in Washington, DC where he worked with Institutional Investors. Returning to his hometown to cheer on the Steelers/Penguins/Pirates and pursue an MBA, Sam is focusing on Finance, Economics and Strategy at Tepper. In addition to serving as VP of Finance for the Tepper Sports Management and Analytics Club, Sam is the VP of Asset Management for the Graduate Finance Association, VP of Alumni Relation/Corporate Development for the Alpha Asset Management Club and is on the board of the Tepper Opportunity Fund. Sam enjoys playing any sport, skiing and rooting for any Pittsburgh sports team. Sam will be an intern at the CMU Endowment Office this summer.



Haruki Chitani is the Vice President of Operations of the Sports Fanalytics Club. Prior to Tepper, Haruki was an engineer and project  manager in the electronics manufacturing industry, most recently at ASML Japan. He has launched and supported manufacturing operations for global manufacturers in 13 countries. Haruki graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. A big basketball fan and tech geek, Haruki is always willing to strike up a conversation about sports technology, analytics, or any cool new insights into the game.



Sai Boddupalli is a first year MBA student at Tepper. Prior to Tepper, Sai served as  a technology consultant with Accenture’s Chicago Office. His true passion however, is racing. Sai is a Formula1 nut, and a former competitive Kart racer. As a member of the Sports Fanalytics Board, Sai aims to further the organization’s appeal and reach through new and existing social activity programs, and an increase in professional opportunities and guest speaker series. This summer, Sai will be interning at Ford Motor company, helping drive the company’s global product planning & strategy. He eagerly looks forward to taking the Sports Fanalytics Club to a new level and seeing his fellow Tepper colleagues on the track!



Jordan Hopkins is a former Private Banker. For the past several years, Jordan worked to build relationships and give investment advice to ultra-high net worth families, specifically those who owned and ran hedge funds.  Jordan also was heavily involved in recruiting and an active firm’s Georgetown recruiting team. Jordan attended undergraduate programs at Duke University in Durham, NC and Drew University in Madison, NJ where he studied engineering and economics. Outside of his professional endeavors Jordan is very active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations including the Council of Urban Professionals, the Foreign Policy Association (Whitehead Fellow) and the Neighborhood House of Morristown, NJ. Jordan enjoys cooking, a variety of music and playing golf and is currently pursuing his MBA at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon. This summer Jordan will be working for the investment banking division of Barclays.



Jesse Lambert graduated from Boston University with a BS/BA in Finance and Operations Management. Prior to arriving at Tepper, Jesse worked for Bank of America in retail banking as well as for two start-ups in the professional basketball industry. At Tepper, he is focusing his studies on Business Analytics in the hopes of securing a role with a professional sports team upon graduation. To help achieve this goal, Jesse will be interning with the Pittsburgh Pirates this summer in their Baseball Operations Department as a Data and Analytics Intern. Jesse is eager to help grow the Fanalytics brand (and the Tepper reputation within the professional sports industry) so that future Tepper students with similar goals are able to secure roles much like his summer internship.



Archel G. Desir is the Vice President of Social Competitions of the Tepper Sports Fanalytics Club. Formerly a lacrosse and soccer player, Archel is now an avid fan of most every sport. His favorite team is usually one for which he serves as both general manager and coach; his fantasy squad. Archel also serves on the boards for the Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club and Black Business Association. He graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Prior to Tepper, he worked as Fund Controller for New York based private equity firm, Reservoir Capital Group. Archel is now pursuing the Entrepreneurship Track at Tepper with a focus in Finance. Archel will be working as a Summer Associate with Oakhill Equity over the summer of 2013.



Rhenita Brade is the Vice President of Marketing for the Fanalytics Club. She also serves on the board of the Black Business Association as the Vice President of Communications. Rhenita graduated from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Law. Prior to Tepper she worked at Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company as a Legal Analyst in the Government Relations Department. Rhenita is concentrating her studies in strategy and marketing.
